MSS is a coaching support program for government school students in the Sunderbans.
The centres operate from 6 am to 9 am and maintain a student-teacher ratio of 32:1. They teach essential subjects such as English, Bengali, Mathematics, Science, etc.
The MSS programme is run by Mukti, a socio-economic development organization founded in 2003 that works in the fields of healthcare, water scarcity, sanitation, and education in and around the Sunderbans.
