Cyclone Bulbul ravaged almost all of betel leaf farmlands and standing rice crops. Kolkata Gives contributed 7.5 lacs to reach out to 150 farmers to help them restore betel leaf farms.
Many fishermen were found dead and many went missing after cyclone Bulbul retreated from West Bengal. We helped repair almost 25 damaged boats of those fishermen who lost their only source of income, fishing.
